September 2025 Update

This month has been all about revisiting half-finished projects and organizing all the things I set aside a couple years ago. It feels so good to get back into the groove—and I’m especially excited to finally release a new pattern!

The Diamonds Headband has been a slow-burn project, in the works for about a year, with progress made in tiny bits of time. I’m so happy to see it finished and ready to share!

Outside of knitting, it’s been a busy month around here. We tackled some major home projects and squeezed in a family vacation. Our deck has been demolished (fingers crossed for a replacement very soon!), and we had to take down a huge tree in the yard. It feels so empty now that everything’s cleaned up—but that just means more room for Halloween decorations, which I’ll be getting back to soon!

On the knitting front, I’ve made a little progress on my Mélange Sweater, and I finished my Basic Witch Beanie—though I’ve decided it needs to be just a bit longer, so it’s heading back on the needles for one more round. I finished my abydos top! I still need time to block it, but I love it already.
