December, January... and February
A few months of updates

Somehow it's already March and I'm just now resurfacing. The holidays disappeared fast, and then daycare germs took out our whole household for what felt like most of winter. Survival mode was our reality for a while — but we're through it, everyone's healthy, and I'm ready to actually be here again.
Minnesota is doing its classic thing where we get a blizzard one week and 70-degree sunshine the next. I've been outside every chance I get — cleaning up the yard, finally dealing with the garage storage situation I abandoned last fall, and just breathing some fresh air. It feels good.
The knitting didn't stop, even when everything else did. Over the past few months I finished sweaters for both kids and one for myself, finished the Basic Witch Beanie, made the Melt the Ice hat (which my children immediately claimed as their own — I don't get to wear it, apparently), and finished a knit-along for the Easy Eyelet Lite. I've also finally cast on a second sample for a design I've been sitting on for a while. That one is getting close, and I'm excited to share it soon.
Here's what I keep coming back to: the past couple of years I've been really good at starting things and not so good at finishing them. New ideas are fun. Finishing is harder. So that's the intention right now — work through what's already in progress, get it finished, and actually get it out into the shop where you can find it. More updates soon.
